"BABY LEE ARRIVES TODAY!

So its been 3 1/2 months since I blogged. That is how busy its been for me. So busy that its WHY I SHOULD have been blogging. But I didn't. I have spent that time getting a VERY large belly and traveling some doing plumb promo (in May and early June) and took all of July off to prepare to have my little one. The single is doing AMAZING by the way...I have NEVER been more thankful for radio... thanks gang!

Also...we sold our home. Many of you know we've been trying to sell it for almost 16 months and finally accepted an offer made to us on June 29 and they wished to close in only a few weeks and our new home was not ready. ARGH. So...we had to meet with our builder since our baby was arriving soon and we didn't really want to bring a newborn home and our two young boys to a hotel...so a home down the street from the one we were building that is nicer and larger, did I say nicer and larger...I did...he allowed us to purchase for basically the same price tag as the home we were building and we LOVE it. Our builder is a man of integrity...and not just because he did us the biggest favor EVER but because he just is and everything fell into place Friday July 18 after much diligence. We packed up the night before with 18 helpers..yes...18! And closed on our old home that morning...closed on our new home that evening and moved in the same night with another dozen helpers...we are so thankful for good friends. And although I should most likely have been sitting in a chair with sweet iced tea pointing to where things should go...I didn't...I was too excited. And other than the office, the garage and a few rooms that are simply empty...we are moved in and baby Lee arrives...TODAY. God is good...his timing is perfect and he does EXCEEDINGLY above what we ask or expect...the home sold, the new home was ready and even nicer than planned and all before baby arrived...so that we can come home to a home...not a house or a hotel. So...when I say its been crazy busy...I'm telling the truth but I must say it with the understanding that we have not gone through any of it without the community of the church we are so thankful to be a part of...our families and our friends are priceless and we could NOT have done it without them.

So...today is my baby's b'day! I have a scheduled c'section...I could have had it sooner so I hesitated to ever give this date out but I made it...I am due Sunday so only 6 days from now...but have had contractions that were less than fun I'd say, all night last night...so I know he or she is ready. So stay tuned...a VIDEO BLOG of the event and photos will follow later today. We are so excited!

Thanks for truly being some of the best fans on planet earth and for understanding that this artist is just bad at blogging regularly...I'd say I'd work on it..and I will...but I can assure you with 3 little ones and songs to write and songs to pitch and shows to do this fall it will be a challenge for me...but I promise to do it as often as I can. Now...gotta go find a copy of my own current CD to give to this little one at the hospital...
